.....will likely be collecting NFL paychecks and showing that there are gestures of importance beyond the football field. No doubt the players were encouraged to participate from within the program. They aren't likely to set up these community outreaches on their own. Still, taking time away from preparation for a big opening game less than a week away is bravo. Pitt's football players reputation of being a leader in community service is a crowning example of the culture Dooz has built and an example of the standard they expect from the players on and off the field.

Now....bring on the hoopies.

To be clear, I wasn't trying to diminish the culture that Narduzzi has developed. From the point where his culture became evident, I said that Narduzzi was the guy for this job and I still think that. His culture embraced and accentuated Penny's efforts by the looks of things.
