I don't see that as an issue outside of this year. Now , he has two bad years in a row , he will be gone , even if he was the pope
This the the year they had an easy schedule He is 2-4. Any Notre Dame coach forced out never went to a meaningful job.
-Notre Dame had 100 yards of total offense against N.C. State with 3 turnovers. The Defensive Coordinator has been fired. The offensive Coordinator should be fired. And its time to Fire Brian Kelly.
-Brian Kelly has now lost at least 5 games in 4 of 7 years at Notre Dame. Terrible Coach, Terrible Person. Notre Dame is going to start 2-6 this year.
It would be hard to like him if he was our coach, very hard, yes their schedule had them set up for 9 or 10 wins.
stanford miami and navy the next three... ND will likely be 3-6 and could easily be 2-7 by the end of the day nov. 5th
Not out of the realm of possibility that ND will be favored in all 3 of those games actually.
navy currently giving Houston fits. They will be a handful against the ND defense .
ND is not a good team this year. Talent aside, Kelly has lost the team. His abusive rants and sideline dressing down players is tired and old. He should be gone after this year, but 12 million is the buyout and ND may not be ready to go that big with no big time coach beating down the door to coach there.
I got to know Kelly a bit years ago, and as a former college player I think very highly of him as a football coach, but I think you're right that he has lost his team. I don't think it's the sideline demeanor so much as it is the closed door stuff that goes on after a loss and during the week of practice. They are demoralized and need his encouragement more than his criticism right now. He's not great at that.
