Texas OL Byron Nelson made a commitment to North Carolina just now. Nelson visited Pitt on the first official visit weekend, then followed that up with trips to Vanderbilt and North Carolina. The trip to Chapel Hill was the most recent one and it made an impact, obviously. This wasn’t totally unexpected. There is another OL announcement tomorrow (Denzil Williams) and I expect him to pick Boston College. I think Pitt wants one more linemen, and following the commitments of Nelson and tomorrow’s decision with Williams, that would leave Jordan Fields as the only OLinemen on the board who visited this month. He is announcing on July 11th.
