That was a surprising win for them. SD St is generally the same as BYU, but more athletic. SD St is a team who will probably make a deep run this year.

I said in my groupthink gambling chat that that looked like a 6/11 matchup tonight. Really entertaining December basketball between two good teams.

I really like Barcello, he's a walking bucket. I can't quite figure out how that didn't work out for him at Arizona even if he's a limited athlete.

The WCC is going to be a fun watch this year. Gonzaga usually runs through the league outside of their always tough games with Saint Mary’s, but this year you have BYU, San Fran and Pepperdine who all have the ability to beat them on a given night.

I’m kicking myself for not playing BYU today, just couldn’t get there in the end. It really is a new team this year, they ran so much of their stuff through TJ Haws the past couple seasons it will probably take a little longer before they really figure out who they are. I’m an unabashed Mark Pope fan, really like what he has done so far.

The WCC is going to be a fun watch this year. Gonzaga usually runs through the league outside of their always tough games with Saint Mary’s, but this year you have BYU, San Fran and Pepperdine who all have the ability to beat them on a given night.

You really started to see a change in the league last year, the teams in the middle of the pack were much stronger than usual. One of my favorite events to attend is the WCC tournament at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. Really cool intimate place to watch games, and unlike a lot of conferences it is pretty much SRO for the semis and finals. Very high ticket prices for a mid major tournament.

Really fun league to follow with interesting coaches and a lot of decent wagering opportunities.

The teams are really starting to get much better because of the Zags and what they have done for that conference.
