Call and thank Paul Chryst

I'll chime in with an observation.

Chryst I think.....is an excellent talent evaluator.

He takes a 2 star DE in Connor and turns him into an NFL back

He finds a lightly recruited TE in O Neil

See above

Do we know if Narduzzi can evaluate talent? He is a better salesman than Chryst....but is that enough?

And what did narduzzi do in year 3? He got boat raced by ok st in a game where they looked like they could have scored 80 if they tried.

He lost games to a sub par GT (blown out) and a bad Syracuse team.

To top it off, pitt lost to a god awful UNC team, a loss probably as bad as that Akron loss.

Yeah, a couple players like peterman and price were narduzzi players, but the o line, wr’s, and te’s were Chryst players. Peterman too apparently came here because of Cheney, not narduzzi.

Narduzzi took over a far better situation than Chryst inherited. If he goes 4-8 this year, why is that acceptable but Chryst in year 3 going 6-6 was a disaster?

I don’t expect 8 wins with the schedule, but if they miss a bowl going 5-7 or worse, he needs to go.

There's 50 other recruits that Chryst brought in that never was competitive in for a P5 team.

The only reason Connor was brought in as RB was Chryst striking out on every RB they targeted that year. At running back, Ollison is serviceable but every other back I can recall wasn't very good.

I'll chime in with an observation.

It won't be acceptable, but going 4-8 this year will be equivalent to Chryst's 6-6 years.
