I realize the rule is you have to let them land but can we use some common sense. Cadeau barely grazed the toe of the ND defender on the way down and went down like he was shot by a sniper. Total flop but the ND defender did ever so lightly touch a centimeter of Cadeau's shoe so by rule, its probably the right call. But what are we doing here? I hate that rule.

It was a foul. Give him room to land. These guys know the rules, they just have to play smarter. In my opinion, Burton was fouled on his winning layup attempt, but, the refs refused to give him the call. He isn't airballing a layup attempt if he isn't bodied, plus the guys hands came down on him slightly as well.

It’s a dangerous play to not give the shooter space to land - it’s not relevant whether their shoes actually touched - the rule is clear .

That is soft though. The guy had room to land, well minus 1 cm of his one foot. I just hate that room to land call because these guys aren't jumping from space and need this huge area to land in. Shooters exploit this rule. It's just such a soft rule. 9 out of 10 times, it would never get called unless the shooter flopped, which Cadeau did.

Must win for the ACC. UNC needs to get their crap together.

For anybody who didn't see any of NC vs. ND, I must say NC may have trouble getting their act together. Right now, RJ Davis is off his game and they are just clearing out and letting their freshman guard Ian Jackson drive. They would have lost if Elliot Cadeau didn't make the 4 point play with 5 seconds left. They remind me alot of us last year, as they really have no post game. If RJ Davis doesn't find his shot, Carolina will be home for the post-season.
