I figured guys lower on the depth chart would transfer. This won’t be the last one.
Just keep your eyes on the portal. Trust and thank him later.
Given we are up against the scholarship limit, and still recruiting, it was obvious a few guys would be looking to transfer.

I think it's gotten to the point where over-recruiting is the norm because so many kids are on the move.
Recruit the best athletes possible, over recruit, say goodbye to those who don't make the final cut.
Or tell them they can stay around, no free ride and try again the following season.

Another victim of the 85 scholarship rule. MAC recruit shoulda went to BGSU out of HS just like Bama has ACC guys that ride the bench for 4 years or transfer. There's way too many scholarships.
Please say it’s a Clemson, LSU, OSU, or Alabama transfer. Some of those cats are unreal. I was amazed at just how freakin athletic those WRs are. They catch almost anything thrown their way.
You're 100% right about that. We don't have anything even close to one of those types on our roster. They make a big difference in the passing game.
Catching the ball would help but creating separation AND catching the ball would be great and transform our O
Over recruiting is normal because too many of those recruited fail to perform as expected. And some of those that can contribute move on simply because others are staring before them.
