Serious question: Does Capel have the ability to discuss with the ACC/NCAA, after a game like tonight’s where certain egregious calls had an obvious outcome, and prevent this crew from doing another Pitt game? I know it sounds silly, but when a coach objects to a bad call during a game, they’ll likely get t’d up. Where and how do the coaches have the recourse to make officials accountable? I realize ref’s are human, and are prone to error. But they need to be accountable. I’d like to know that when they error, they’ll have fewer games to officiate ...
