This squad is returning a good-to-great core of players in Robinson, Jeter, Artis and Young and should be able to match or exceed expectations for most of the alumni and fans of Pitt basketball. Getting the rest of the players (Newkirk, Luther, Johnson, and Jones) to focus, practice and gain confidence in Pitt's style should improve our overall performance.
For those that want more, I would ask where does it stop? A national championship is not a "one every decade" but "century" for most teams not named Duke, N. Carolina, UConn or Kentucky. Actually, less of a century probability for those statistics majors in the room.
Those who want to play for Pitt and its coaches are who I root for on the court. For better or worse. Me, stepping down off my soapbox now.
HTP and good luck to Jamie and team in 2015-16.
