This is what came across in the interview.
1) Capel is full of excuses as to why Pitt hasn’t won more games.

2) Capel is still in love with Duke and Coach K. An interview should always circle back to your own program, but he kept talking about his time as a player and coach at Duke.

My greatest wish for Capel is that he just gets lost. And if Heather won't do anything, she can go too. I'm sick of both of them and I don't give a flip about girls volleyball...which is her claim to fame.

You forgot to mention our 11-2 football team, and top flight soccer program. She has done a very good job as AD.

She didn't hire the coaches of volleyball, men's soccer, and football. She deserves credit for keeping them happy but keeping a successful coach happy is easier than actually going out and finding a successful coach.

11-2 football team is great after seven years under Narduzzi. She proves she has patience. 1/2 of her job is the other revenue sport where she has done zilch. Soccer, volleyball don't bring in dollars and overall no one cares. The baseball team didn't make the college world series. For Pitt, she is doing well after the disasters of the killer Bs, Jeff Long, Pederson...but 1/2 of her job is to get basketball right.

She gets the credit for success just the way she gets blame for hoops .

Come on Souf. She gets credit, yes. But she didn't hire those coaches. She gets more blame for a bad hire (Capel) than credit for keeping Barnes's and Juhl's hires happy.
