Can anyone find out what the buy out is on his contract for 22-23, 23-24, 24-25, 25-26, and 26-27? Heather is part of the problem as well with extending the contract after his 2nd year.

Glad to make you happy for once. I was wondering what the figure is. Chris Peak said for this year, it is between 15 and 17 million. I wonder what the criteria is for him to make it to the 23-24 school year. I would imagine it would be a winning overall record both in the ACC and the non conference schedule,at the very least. I would think the NIT at least for bringing him back for the 24-25 term, and then March Madness and the NCAA Tournament, for the 25-26 term.

Will never happen, going to turn over the roster again.
he'll get one more year and it will be miserable.

I would like for him to let go of a couple of his assistants, and bring in people with strong ties to recruits in the ACC footprint. This is why Pitt bball was not transferable from the Big East. Jamie recruited out of New York, Philly, New Jersey, and the Washington DC area, telling parents they play Villanova, Georgetown, Seton Hall, St. John's, Syracuse, U Conn, Providence, and Boston College. Thus, going to Pitt meant their sons would be playing close by, and it worked.

He needs to get lucky like the Wake Forest coach, as he struck gold in the portal. I believe the same thing happened for the Virginia Tech coach.

Noone is going to come to a lame duck situation. Thats just it. He hasn't done it once, and he had an opportunity in Gueye.
Plus you need to coach. And mix the portal with HS kids.
Wont happen.

The only time Capel ever had success was with Blake , we aint getting a Blake.
its going to be a brutal year.

Heather was in the Barclay Center with some big time doners. She could not raise the money for her to buy out Capel.

I have no inside information, but I don't think anyone knows for sure what the buyout is/was. I have read figures from 12 mil to 15 mil to 17 mil.
