I dont understand where do Pitt fans have the right and nerve to talk lile we are above the CBI ?
Last year we were average and Stallings took a NCAAT team and program and made it a joke.
Capel has made Pitt at least respected again and in conversations and considerations with recruits that may never have considered Pitt (-again especially under Stalings).
So where do we as Pitt fans get off saying and acting like we are above the CBI.
If the coaches and players feel they should go then we should just support them (or not.) not act like it's below.
The so called blood blues can do that heck even Carolina fans this year can act that way. NOT PITT.
So let's have a little patience it will payoff.
I know I will be happy just to see them play.

Personally, this would be a great year for Pitt to play in the CBI.

Of course Pitt fans want to see their team in CBI. There are always fans of a program that think their program is “above” such a tournament. There were tons of WVU fans like that when we played in CBI. But, we all know those WVU fans wanted to play in CBI despite their comments. Same goes for the Pitt fans who “publicly post” that they don’t have interest. Typically, these are weak-minded individuals who just can’t deal with failure (which is absolutely one of the best attributes to happen to someone....personally or within team concept). Failure promotes grounding AND evokes grinding.

And yet nobody would have been in favor of turning down the Quick Lane Bowl in Detroit vs the last place team in the MAC West. I dont get that.
