Penn State 36th? This list now has no credibility. WVU is about in the right place though, just outside the Top 25, another win or two they will be back in the rankings.

How in the hell is PSU ranked ahead of Pitt? Because they've played one more game and have one more win? Pitt should play Burrell, Springdale and Knoch in the next 3 weeks, maybe they'll move up to top 10.

I'm guessing YSU hurt us in this ranking and pushed PSU ahead of us. I don't care what anyone says, YSU will be an FCS power under Pelini. I think if they played this year, they beat SD State, Maryland, Buffalo, Army, and maybe even Rutgers. They're going to be close to the years they had under Tressel very soon IMO.

The season is young and early and if you look most wins are from the bottom of those Rankings than from the Top! PITT, PSU, WVU are about to find out how really good they are and then we see it by Game 8 and 10 more than 4 and 6?

However, I quite agree with you how some cannot see how some teams are improving week to week, and some waking up how they might not be so good, and some are winning against Teams below the 80s and still ranked because they 4 Wins????

PITT has the better balance schedule with all Teams 85 or better and few in the 90s and 100s? Sure PITT is not playing more Top 25 Teams right now, but when one looks at the coming Schedule, there is fear in PSU and WVU Fans, but I see it as Fun ad all 3 Teams and Programs have to do more to win more too!

Been saying it for 5 years?

Yep Captain, I think WVU is pretty good, Pitt is solid with a chance to improve vastly every week until they eventually become very good (whether it's this year or a year or two down the road), and Penn State is well... probably the most boring team to watch in NCAA history.

Right on, YSU, Liberty, Georgia Southern even Akron are better Teams than Buffalo, SDSU, Army and Maryland has hit bottom!

Temple and Iowa are right in the top 265 right now, and Pitt barley loss versus Penn State was not in the Game in their Second Half? Iowa has just beaten Wisconsin too.

Yet, Indiana, Illinois, will pose difficulty along with OSU, MSU, UM, and NW! I still think Penn state will struggle against Maryland too?

WVU playing away at TCU, Baylor, and then having to play OKSU, Texas, and KSU is not easy either?

PITT has a worthy opponent in every game including UVA and Cuse that are still in the Bowl Hunt, unlike some bottom feeders on WVU & PSU Schedules they have played and those coming later?

I think WVU has a pretty darn tough schedule, which is the one thing that may slow them down. As for Penn State, I really have a hard time admitting Indiana is good even when they are considering their history. Illinois though, I just think after firing their coach so late is pretty much a mess.

It is a very good year to watch all 3 Teams and see the progress and ebb and flows up and downs, and I still see them more even right now than ever. All 3 are trying to improve with WVU a just a tad ahead due to Holgrosen has been there 5 years. Franklin has 2 year jump on great recruiting and Pitt is still an Optimistic Unknown but looks to be improving every game, something WVU and PSU is not showing as much right now?

All 3 Teams & Programs look to be Top 30 to Top 45 Rankings for the future, if I am reading what they have done and so much more to do?

PITT has little Depth, WVU has great Depth, and Penn State has future Depth but not in the upper class man ranks, one to a few key injuries to all Three Programs could send all 3 losing too.

We shall see?

Well we've already lost Conner, Ibrahim, JJS, and Mitchell (as of now). I still think we're a much better team than PSU. Out of the three though, I would give the edge to WVU, although if we played them it would be a great game this year. They've got a good offense, we have an awesome defense right now. That always makes for a great football game.

H2P!!!
