Watching the game and Garner is having a great game. Even if we don't get Hamlin, this kid will be a contributor.

Both show a lot of promise. I would be happy getting either one of these quaterbacks.

Fisher is a nice prospect but Jurkovic from PR is something special. He is best high school QB I have seen in quite awhile. He looks like...I dare say Dan Marino did in high school. And only a soph! This is who Pitt needs to get!!

Agree on Jurkovec! Was at PR/North Hills game where he spun TWO perfect balls for 60 yd touchdowns in the 1st quarter of that game. "James from State College" was in attendance (an offer was extended), so it will be a battle for Jurkovec. There's one big difference between Marino and Jurkovec -- he has a set of wheels and can run too! Would love to see him as a Panther. Hopefully Coach Kasperovic puts in a good word or two.

Although never to be mistaken for a young Mike Vick, Marino was a great athlete and moved very well when he was in high school FWIW. He wasnt always the complete statue that injuries made him like the player in his later pro years that most will remember.

Exactly, Marino was a very good athlete. When Miami drafted him, Shula told him that anytime he threw a pick he was mandated to run off of the field, because he didn't want to risk Dan getting hurt making a tackle or getting blocked.

Given the MASSIVE improvement we've all seen in the development of Hackenburg at State Penn under James from State College, I'd say Jurkovec to Ped State is a lock! They'd be fools not to place this prospect under the expert tutelage of the QB guru.
Seriously, Franklin should be embarrassed even showing his face around a D1 quarterback prospect. He usually goes incognito, I'm surprised you recognized him!

Hopefully Jurkovic can talk to Hackenberg about his time there. He can tell him about his chances of the NFL are drifting away and he was barely able to walk against Ohio State, yet was thrown out there the entire game. From our side of things, would be a great get if he plays like he has for 2 more years in HS.
