I often think our fanbase lacks perspective and is just way too dialed in to Pitt… people only see the good of other teams, but all the bad in Pitt.
Every year there’s some team that the board loves to point out “why can’t Pitt be ____”.. this year it’s Indiana, previously it was TCU, etc… but then we aren’t feeling their pain when they are 4-8 a year or 2 after due to bad coaching, recruiting, etc.
So I’m curious… and I don’t have the answers here.
Who are some coaches across college football that you feel consistently elevate their programs beyond their resource level?
Doesn’t have to be someone Pitt could hire or whatever.
But simply, who is someone who always has their program at a level way beyond the resources they have?
I’d expect the list to be pretty short, but curious to see peoples’ opinions.
