Somewhat surprising considering two of the bluest blue bloods and biggest fanbases were in the Champ game and the Final 4 consisted of 4 of the top 6 fanbase sizes. I think it shows that despite the expanded playoffs, as the playoffs proceed, they run into the NFL playoffs and kind of getting muddled and overlooked. I am sure SMU, Boise and ASU didn't help earlier rounds as they don't have much cache.

Ohio State's win over Notre Dame in Monday night's CFP National Championship game was the most-watched game of the season. However, it was a double-digit drop in viewers from last year.
