Peterman has done an incredible job. however, where does this all leave the starting, full time QB from last year. early in the year, he was misused as an obvious running plant . now, not even that. gotta think unless he has other motivations, he transfers out.

He could graduate and transfer. But I'm not sold he craves the spotlight as much as some think. I hope he stays and I hope they get him in some plays this year.

I'd like to see a package with Voytike, Boyd and Whitehead in the backfield, and give Voytik more than one play. I'd like to see a series with those 3 in the back field.

Been a Voytik fan all along but with such little room for error it is really hard to get him on the field with NP building off good performances each week. Since there is only one Qb on the field at a time it is one of the perils of playing the position.

Can he play safety? Very smart, pretty good athlete too. Trocano went from a pretty good running QB to safety when Marino eventually took his job.

Chad Voytik's primary focus is and has been to become a physician and help his fellow man in the real world. That is why he chose Pitt over Vanderbilt. In football, he is a consummate team player. You will not hear any moaning or whining from this man.
As others have stated above, I would like to see his considerable athletic skills used to greater advantage by our outstanding staff.

When you heard Chad talking before the season it sounded like he didn't have the high confidence level of a typical starting QB.

chad doesn't deserve to be the starter, whatever happens our coaches will deal with it. personally, i think chad sticks around in a backup roll.

Chad needs to deals with this situation himself. Does he feel that he can still contribute to this team? There is no doubt that the players like him, he has given his heart to this team already. But what is most important for his future, only Chad can answer that question.....

I hope he stays. As excited as I am to see Nate grow and establish himself as the starter next year as well, one play, game one, a torn ACL, it would be a great asset to have Chad there with experience to take over.

Obviously good kid, is a good student, and team player. Has remained good friends with Peterman. Put a lot of effort into preparing for the season, and has handled things well.

He's switched to finance, not pre-med. Great kid, but Peterman fits this offense better.

Don't care really. Side effects of having better talent
Honestly, who cares? He got beaten out, just like Bostick, in the end he wasn't as good as expected. So what? He can leave if he wants, who cares?

No chance at all Voytik starts at QB next season. Will go down as a great leader and teammate though, Chad was great to have in that locker room I'd imagine. He also did a fantastic job in 2014. I really would like to see them try to get him involved at another position next season and see him on the field.
