Discussion that needs to be had. Was he really that valuable to the team? He joined in 2017, and had 4 guys get drafted. Kancey, who was Partridge’s glory, Weaver and Jones, who are both backup LBs now in the league, and a guy in the USFL. 4 lineman drafted in 7 years for a blitzing system that pads D-lineman stats. Last season, granted he doesn’t choose the roster, but the line was AWFUL. You’d think a super-coach would be able to muster up some sort of pass rush in a conference not known for stout offensive lineman. If he never had Kancey, his legacy wouldn’t be as heralded.
