Chryst's team was in the big championship game and had the big's best bowl victory this year. If the Duzz can do the same, I don't care if he wears shorts with a Bear Bryant hat on the sidelines.
yep, runner up in the weakest conference in the country squeaking by the MAC champ in another meaningless exhibition game that the networks and pundits now call the "New Years Six"...I'm green like the Hulk with envy...I'm sure Paul would be heartbroken to hear a bunch of Pitt fans watching his top 10 team play in a New Years Six bowl dislike his shirt.

But they lost to the PSU team that Pitt beat...ah the transitive property paradoxes can be so much fun...I like Chyst, I do, but the Big 10 was exposed as the Ronda Rousey of college football so rankings of the teams within it impress me little...Knock it all you want. They're gonna' finish in the top 10 with a win over Northwestern. We're gonna' finish 8-5 with a loss to Northwestern.
With their schedule, we would have
I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts as to why that is, given the fact that Narduzzi had the only defense in all of college football ranked in both the top 10 in rushing D and total D for 4 straight years and while at MSU was widely regarded as the best defensive coordinator in the country.I'm more worried about our defensive wizard putting out the worst defense I've seen since majors 2...and regressed from last year
I do have a question..... The ACC seems to do well in bowl games, minus us lately, but conitinues to have crappy bowl line up, top to bottom. Does Pitt basically go undefeated and plays in the payoffs, or lose a game or 2 , and get a bowl game against LOWER TIER U? So for Pitt, it's playoffs or bust? Auburn had 4 losses if I'm correct and got one of the best bowls
Wrong thread , but with the Big Ten stinking up the bowls most years , they are all over the big bowls just to lose
Because despite being a TOTALLY overrated conference [for many years running]...the B1G schools pump out tons of alumni with the best of them. So there are plenty of folks to watch televisions and buy tickets and souvenirs for each bowl game that has a contract with them. Pitt, despite doing a great job of selling bowl tickets the past two seasons, is never going to get selected over a team that can really fill the house. If Pitt wants an invitation to one of the better ACC bowls, it is going to need to WIN their way to an invitation. Hail to Pitt!
He's no longer the coordinator for a good coach...I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts as to why that is, given the fact that Narduzzi had the only defense in all of college football ranked in both the top 10 in rushing D and total D for 4 straight years and while at MSU was widely regarded as the best defensive coordinator in the country.
What do you think went wrong on his flight from Lansing to Pittsburgh? Did he hit his head as a result of some severe turbulence?
And curiously MSU's the worst it's been defensively in 20 years. He's no longer the coordinator for a good coach...
And his coordinator isn't good.
