Cincy, Uconn, Army now count for B10

Odd that Army counts but Navy and AFA does not. UConn counts but not Boise?

The original proposal would have included Temple, but the first two weeks of the season killed that . . .
This is going to open up a major can of worms. All of those AAC teams that are beating Navy, UConn and Cincy and who beat the hell out of Army when they were in C-USA together are going to raise hell and rightfully so.
FLASH: Ped State signs long term contract to play Army. The contract calls for a 20 year series with the first 19 games in Happy Valley and the 20th at neutral site Philadelphia.
This is actually within the realm of possibility, given the people who are making the decisions up there. And it's a safe assumption that they won't schedule any more games in Philadelphia with Temple.
The SEC is the biggest violator of playing schedules filled with non-power 5 teams. This year, the SEC West's 7 teams play a combined total of five Power 5 opponents. That's right...just 5. If I'm not mistaken, I don't think Ole Miss or Miss. St. plays a Power 5 opponent. In total, the SEC plays 12 Power 5 opponents. The B1G plays 19.
Among other things, that will force Smutgers to give up their affiliate membership in the MEAC. (Norfolk State may end up being their only win all season.)
It is because Army stinks and they don't want to play Navy. They can be a tough out because of their offense. Boise is better than UCONN.
So in other words, there is no mandate to play P5 schools in the B10.

Too bad the matchup between Army and UConn two weeks ago didn't occur later in the season. That would have been a Bottom 10 "pillow fight of the week".
Yes there is. The BT is mandating that all members play 1 game against P5, ND, BYU, Cincy, Uconn, or Army and are not allowing members to schedule 1AA teams
