I think he is one of those players who likes the money but doesn't really like football. Some are ultra passionate but others just don't have the true desire to play. After the Archer trade, Pittsburgh was due to be on the other side of a lopsided trade. Can’t believe we got the 32nd pick for him. It’s sad because Claypool can be very good but is quite the head case.
Which one...his left or right?Tomlin has a shrewd eye for talent.
“Middle”……only a third, middle eye could discern the considerable potential of an Artie Burns, Chase Claypoole, Devin Bush, Jarvis Jones, Kendrick Greene and Terrell Edmunds. And people wonder why the roster is so bad.Which one...his left or right?
But he tumbles so well!Million Dollar Body

I thought he was beginning to play better before the Steelers were able to trade him. In fact I’d have preferred to have kept him over Johnson. I guess he didn’t do anything for the Bears, but…few others seem to, either; maybe more a team problem than his problem? Good to have gotten the value pick they got for him either way.
In a sweet, sweet beach city too, just as weather in Chicago will start to suck.Claypool and a 7th to the Dolphins for a 6th. Just wild how these headcases always seem to be rewarded by ending up with a better team.
"What'dya mean you're disgruntled playing for this abortion of a franchise?! That's it; you're going to a Super Bowl contender!"

Everyone thinks they can change someone. Never happens. Not just in football.
Terrell Edmunds should not be in that list. A guy who will start every game during his career and it’s good enough to be a starter. If you pick in the 20s is a good picK. Not every strong safety is Troy Polamalu.“Middle”……only a third, middle eye could discern the considerable potential of an Artie Burns, Chase Claypoole, Devin Bush, Jarvis Jones, Kendrick Greene and Terrell Edmunds. If he was so good why didn’t the Steelers resign him? His contract signing price wasn’t that high. He was average … not worth a first round pick….never created turnovers.Terrell Edmunds should not be in that list. So because they didn’t resign him he can be compared to Jarvis Jones? If he was so good why didn’t the Steelers resign him? His contract signing price wasn’t that high. He was average … not worth a first round pick….never created turnovers.
No, the basic point is any time a team doesn’t resign a first round pick to a second contract, particularly where as here there was little competition for his services, that signals he was a bad first round selection.p in the first place. So because they didn’t resign him he can be compared to Jarvis Jones?
But he did sign a second contract. Was Plexico Burress a bad pic because he didn’t sign a second contract? Was Mike Wallace a bad pic because he didn’t sign a second contract? I know that’s Edmunds didn’t make the interceptions and the big splash plays but he’s a solid NFL starter. I don’t think he’s a bust. I just don’t think that he’s a star either and not everybody can be a star. No, the basic point is any time a team doesn’t resign a first round pick to a second contract, particularly where as here there was little competition for his services, that signals he was a bad first round selection.p in the first place.
