SMF... Can't be serious !This team has quit. We are probably looking at 7-11 in the ACC.
Maybe it would be better if Young and Artis went pro meaning we lose all 5 starters and field a team of players who actually care. These are the same group of guys who quit last season and embarrasses themselves against GW in the NIT with Dan Dakich calling them out.
Accusing athletes of quitting shows that the OP never played a sport, and doesn't have a clue.
Still trying to justify garbage behavior that's repeated ad nauseum.Okay but in all seriousness, isn't that what you could do on message boards? These forums allow all different types of fans to post their beliefs, thoughts, predictions, etc...
Funny Pitt won by 2 points. I'd say barely beating a 2-5 team on the road, getting blown out by a now 1-6 NC State team at home, getting blown out by a mediocre Louisville team on the road in 3 out of 4 games is not particularly funny. It's not like we beat UNC in Chapel Hill good god.
Scaz, road win in the ACC always something to hang your hat !That certainly is looking at things in the most grim fashion. We also beat ND on the road, who just beat Duke. The ACC is not the Atlantic 10. A road win at FSU is a good win, Period.
I'll be going to Pitt soon. I hope the folks I meet aren't jerks like you. You couldn't even apologize to the guys. I don't even think you went to Pitt. You have real problems upstairs.I gotta say I love to be wrong on this. As you can tell, I pretty much gave up on this team. Take away the win over BC, who is like a D2 team, I saw a team which played terrible against Lou and NC St and looked just as bad in the first half against FSU. They looked every bit like last year's Pitt team.
But, the boys really came to play in the 2nd Half and showed the type of heart and toughness this program has been missing for a few years. It was a "old time" Pitt win. We found a way. And as hard as I was on Robinson, we dont win that game without his big 3s in the 2nd half.
Jamie said that was the most vocal he's been in his 13 years so we at least shared the frustration. The season was over. We were staring at the NIT. The team looked like it quit.......but we found a way. A very promising victory. Hopefully we can build on this and beat Clemson.

Some of you people take this stuff way to seriously. We lose that game, we probably lose to Clemson and its NIT time. Its a message board. I post my thoughts, opinions, frustrations, etc. Sometimes I'm right and sometimes I'm wrong. When I'm wrong, I love it to be times like this.
The team looked awful in the first half and at that point in time, I stand by my "thoughts" but they were wrong, of course because this team showed all of us something.
Great, great win.

I will say we need a defensive Specialist coach on the bench.
I just want to make sure I have this straight... You "stand by" your thoughts, which were the team has quit on the season, despite overcoming a 10-point halftime deficit on the road (which just happens to be the 2nd biggest road comeback in a BE or ACC conference game)?
How's the weather in dreamland?
