IMO, Capel knows that Dior and Hugley would not help this team at the moment , that is why they are not playing. Plain and simple.

Tough to predict, but it seems like Dior, Burton, and Hinson are a lot of ball-loving alphas to have on the court simultaneously. But I'd love some minutes off the bench from Dior. Seems like something they should be doing.

As it stands, it seems like they'd only use him if there's an injury and they don't want to completely screw the season because of it.

The alley oop attempt to Fede with 17 seconds left was one of the most baffling decisions I’ve ever seen in a close game

i mean , the way Hugley looked, I would never play the guy again, unless fede was in foul trouble but again, im not at practice.
And just because Dior is a 4 star, that means nothing....... basically what it means is a headache off the court.

I am on record saying I would not play Santos. He isn’t good enough for this level. Dior is a high 4 star talent and would have given better minutes off the bench.

I think the break glass description someone gave above is accurate. Like if Cummings or Burton went down, I bet they would let him play so as to not derail what is looking like Capel's only half-decent season so far.

Santos shoots at about the same 3-point percentage I would expect from Shaq.

Either play him or don’t. He either lesson or he’s going to or he possibly won’t learn it. But if they say in February ok you’re good to play now because someone got hurt… zero point in suspending him in the first place. He will have learned nothing and won’t be prepared as he would now anyways.

Break glass is dumbest possible outcome for him. Play him or don’t. No contingency

Santos should not play any meaningful minutes again until he’s with IUP.

He’s essentially filling in for Jeffries
I really like him as a player but he needs some of those open looks to drop
But they haven’t

The available bench gets exposed vs the better teams. Concerned the top 6 will hit a wall. Maybe a dip in schedule will help soon.

Taking away the 2 FTs with 9 seconds left that we had to foul them, we shot more FTs than them. We lost to a good team. My goodness, not much more than that. Some things need tweaked.

Not only that, but in both halves we were in the double bonus before Clemson got to the one and one.

Because the refs were trying to screw us, again, apparently.

I agree, a plain old ordinary pass and all we would have needed was for Federiko to make a layup. And he never misses any of those!
