Clemson WR available

May not be a bad pick up if he's interested. He wasn't a star for Clemson, but he was behind some pretty talented receivers and still caught his share of balls last year. If we can find room, which won't be a given, I say take him if he wants to come.

No thanks. No need to tie up a scholy with someone that may not be better than some of our young guys.
He brings valuable experience, and has caught more balls than who we have coming back. Not sure if he could come here since we play them.

IMO, this is a no brainer. Take him if interested in Pitt. Averaged 24 receptions for three yrs. at Clemson. Their WR depth is undoubtedly greater and better than ours, so those 24 would probably be more if he were at Pitt. Even with our new recruits he'd fit IMO.
We need to let a few of our non productive WR's go/transfer to a lesser program. WR is an immediate need.

G Hopper has a few red flags that may scare some off. With Clemson's accrual if WR talent, I suspect he was urged/asked to consider his options for playing time outside if Death Valley. He isn't an alpha receiver, but may be a better fit as the complimentary #2.

There was an intra-conference grad transfer in the ACC last season to Virginia from North Carolina. TJ Thorpe.
