With Pat Fitzgerald’s termination at Northwestern, there are only 16 FBS coaches who have longer tenures than Coach Narduzzi (15 if you don’t count FBS newcomer Sam Houston State). After this season, he will have surpassed Johnny Majors and Pop Warner (!!) to become the third-longest-tenured coach in Pitt football history behind John Michaelosen (10) and the legendary Jock Sutherland (15).
For the first time in a long time, we are lucky to have this type of stability at Pitt!
