We all assume that he got fired for crapping the bed on every defensive end recruit on the board last season. If he can get canned for that, one using common sense would assume the other assistants will be on the hot seat for some of the problems this season. I have been patient with the defensive staff,but the linebackers and the DC have regressed badly over the past three seasons. There is no excuse for blitzing on 2nd and 18 when you know unc is running the ball. All blitzing does is open up running lanes where your backers would normally fill. Just some really bad decisions being made last night.
