Depends.
Pretty much al of Tarantino's movies are great, but on the other hand they're all unmistakably Tarantino Movies.
If IMDB didn't exist I'd never believe you that Fargo, No Country, and A Serious Man had the same directors.
I also find myself going back and watching Coen movies more often.
But maybe I'm just a bit biased because we watched Big Lebowski 78 times in high school.

Since there is another thread just started about a Broadway musical, makes me wonder why someone hasn't tried to create a musical out of a Tarantino or Coen Brothers movie?

That is a masterpiece for sure but it was by Paul Thomas Anderson.
Lebowski would have to be the top choice for that. I'm not very familiar with musicals in general, but I have to imagine there is some pretty cool stuff you could do with those dream sequence scenes.
Lebowski would work for sure. There are so many great choices, that's why I am surprised no one has done it. I mean they just created a musical out of Mean Girls movie. I think more Coen movies in general fit better, but some of the Tarantino's could work. Django would work for sure, just not sure how you'd condense the storyline enough.
I don't think that gets counted as a Tarantino movie, does it? I know he wrote it, but wasn't Oliver Stone the director?
Yes...and I think Tarantino did not like the interpretation of his screenplay.
I think it's an "informal" Tarantino film
I also remember the public outrage at that film when it came out. How times have changed.
For a while they did. Now there's just public outrage about everything that comes out, haha.
