Just won the PIAA state championship for the second time. Looking forward to seeing him at Pitt.
I know you were at states(at least I think you were). One question: why did Teasdale's opponent choose the up position instead of down or neutral. He lost the match 2-0 on 2 escapes! It just did not make any sense and the announcers(tv) did not make mention of it.It was Cole that brought it to my attention lol

I also thought Teasdale did not look like the better wrestler in that match even though he won.
Yes he picked neutralDoes he not have the choice of neutral? He should have had a takedown.
I stand corrected , agreeJones took top. Teasdale took bottom. I don't know what Jones was thinking.

Yep I was wrong and I agree with thatMatthews looked REALLY good during the tourney. Dominating.
Jones took top - probably because he knew (1) Teasdale is really tough on top and can turn people, and (2) he knew it would be very tough to take Teasdale down. Probably thought his best shot being down 1-0 was a cheap tilt for 2 and ride him out.
I thought Jones took top in 2nd period. That is what announcers said.
If he took top in 2nd period, he was not down 1-0. It was 0-0 going into 2nd period and Jones had come very close to getting a takedown in the first. He did - pretty sure we cleared that up in the above![]()
