I was so disappointed when Hillegas committed to Va Tech out of HS. Thought he was going to have a great college career. HS success just hasn't translated to college at all for him.

I never saw him wrestle in HS but Im on the other end watching him in college wondering how he was so successful.

He is stiff and kinda slow footed

I wonder if he was like Austin Bell in that he could just overpower kids in HS and that stopped working in college where the guys are all strong

I remember at the time it was said he was not comfortable in big cities and therefore never had an interest in Pitt. Blacksburg and Morgantown fit him better as a person.

Feel they are having a good season. Only two loses were very competitive and within reach. Hope to see them continue to progress as season goes on and finish strong when it matters.
