When Did I say, I want to "go back"? I never did. I want to go forward to forward to something that never existed. I want to make the possibility of some non-blue blood making a run something that might happen once a decade.

It’s just so weird you have a non-blue blood not capable of winning the conference without divisions, but also capable of “making a run.”

You say the most random things that are all held together with duct tape and your wish upon a star.

we all want playoff expansion but we all know with very little doubt that if it goes to 8, 12 or 16, all we are going to see is some very lopsided playoff games. i mean that's reality.

this idea of a 'cinderalla run' by an 8-4 team "shocking the world" and winning an NC is virtually impossible. best case, some 8-4 team upsets a team in first rd of playoffs then gets boat-raced by georgia in the 2nd round..

To me, that's better than never getting any 2% chance for the rest of history, which is pretty close to what we have now.

I'd also be OK with a Super League, with maybe the 20-30 PRO NCAA teams that have a school attached just to be eligible to play, that put football above academics, and then the actual academic institutions can have a tournament.

And that 8-4 team is going to be like Texas A&M this past season. Holes and issues on the team. But 8th in the team talent calculator, so has a puncher’s chance of upsetting Alabama.

It’s going to be disappointing blue bloods that have the talent, that pull off these upsets.

It won’t be Iowa.

yeah, i cant argue. upsets do happen in sports. again, im for it. i want 8 and see how it goes. first rd is home game for the higher seed, i'd like rd 2 the same and do the NC game only at a neutral site..
