Collier to William & Mary

Seems about the right level for him.
Agreed. He can potentially be a starter at that level. Not a super productive starter but a decent 8 and 7 type of guy. The question is, why was he offered an ACC scholarship? Also, why was Murphy, Coulibaly, Drumgoole, Santos, Jeffress, Payton, Amadusun, etc. Recruiting has been....nevermind

Well, your list of players answers
your question. Those players
are the level of what Capel
was able to bring in here. Sad,
very sad.

One helluva good school for anyone. He's very fortunate he'll be going there. He has the opportunity to get a great education if he doesn't blow it.

The daughter of my neighbor went there. She's now working on Wall Street making mid 6 figures, and she's only 24.

And a really fine school too. In all seriousness, this is a situation where the ease of the transfer portal works to someone's advange.
I wouldn't be totally opposed to allowing transfer downs being able to play immediately but how would you designate which schools/conferences are which? Maybe Pitt can be classified as a mid-major and get P6 transfers

Not nearly as funny as you think it is. ;)

Collier came to Pitt from
the Westtown School in
eastern PA, outside of
West Chester. I live near
its campus. It has a pretty
high acadermic standing.
Of course it also recruits
high level Bball players. I
have no knowledge of his
academic background,
but W&M seems like a
pretty natural fit for a
Westtown grad. It also
seems like a good Bball
fit for him.

Gorgeous school.
My favorite of the schools my daughter visited. Tough to get in for a non-Virginia resident. They told us 75% of applicants were from out of state, but 75% of those accepted were from in state.

My least favorite was Syracuse. Just seemed like a really gloomy place to me. Their video was great, though, with so many famous alumni in the media shown.

It’s on my Son’s top five.

Westtown has a basketball "academy." I doubt he was there for academics

She'll need that to make that much to live at a bare subsistence level in NYC.

True. That's equivalent to about $75,000/year in Pittsburgh. I'm sure that enters into the equation when they give these starting salaries. She's been there for a couple of years now.

I see the mental patients are making stupid comments again, though. It's so hard to have a decent, normal, human conversation on this board any more with idiots populating it at every turn (not directed at you, btw).

Your neighbor tells you what their daughter makes? You’re so full of shit, elderly jogger!

You’re from such an affluent area that you have to solicit donations from this website where 80% of the posters laugh at you?

Noah will be joined at WM by Chase Lowe who lead his team to two state NC titles as a 6’5 point guard by frequently producIng triple doubles. Noah is a loss for Pitt and will develop with more playing time. The two have high motors and it will interesting to watch For WM fans.
