Hey..I saw your bro. Flew into LAX yesterday and stopped at a Starbucks before heading to Dodger Stadium. Outside Starbucks (and later inside using to use the bathroom) I saw this white dude with a WVU hat, limping around shoeless and a swollen ankle.
This sad sack red neck was the poster child for WVU...how you twist your ankle in LA is a mystery. He ends up leaving with some dude (maybe his pimp) in some low Rider where neither could figure out how to unlock the passenger door.
Maybe it was that WVU grad who f bombed his way out of a job as weekend anchor.
I'll say this for WVU...it prepares one for life in the gutter.
This kid could well turn out be another Tony Mandarich, collegiate version at least. However, given his offers, I don't understand why they are so quick to take his commitment. It's not likely that this kid is going to blow up overnight. Filling all of these spots with kids that are not highly regarded this early, just makes no sense.
This is where I’m at. Slow play this guy! He camped for Rutgers and didn’t earn an offer there. If we want to circle back to him later in the cycle, do it - he has no other suitors.
He may pan out, he may no...but either way, why take him now?
Why is this so hard for you people to understand? The lower rated guys come from the camps they hold. So teams offer them ships. Thats what the damn camps or for. The big ones get visirs at their home, high achool etc. They then take visits to schools. They dont need to go to no regular camp to get notice.

He can bend a little, has some nasty in him. Good size. Looks like an OG or C to me due to his footwork.

He only shows flashes of dominance. He often just does enough to get by. He needs to embarrass his competition this fall. I'm not sure of the caliber of his competition.
I don't think there is enough film on him to make that prediction. He must've showed out at camp. Hopefully, he takes that into his senior year.
Any of you vaginas care to watch his film before you comment about him not being rated. Looks solid. OL almost always take a bit longer to develop. I like finding some big OL with good feet and high upside. Get them in the weight room for 3 seasons before they play.

You can't get closer to Wvu than Morgantown High.So I'd say Malone was pretty close to Holgersen.
