Some kids don’t take to harsh criticism. The WV fans were Neanderthals towards him and his girlfriend, and Huggins style of coaching isn’t for a lot of kids today. Teddy Allen is a great example of someone flourishing under Chris Jans. I think Bridges will do well in the right environment. The other kid has potential and could do well too.

I don’t think taking players from the last place team in the big 12 is a winning formula for Capel but I could be wrong.

Jans has made him the #1 option. Huggs would yank him constantly. Allen is being handled differently by Jans. Huggs is a grumpy drunk who has lost his fastball. Stick a fork in him.

Yeah I agree Huggins is done. The rumor is he’s trying to get Andy Kennedy the job and keep the current staff in place (although that would also be a mistake). Not sure why you think I’m defending WVU? Literally my first post said they sucked

Kennedy was his boy going back to Cincy days. I hope they make a mistake with their next hire. F’ those hillbillies. The 2 kids that are transferring are talented and have the potential to flourish in the right system. It sounded to me like you were blaming them as to why they went 3-15 down the stretch. The blame lies on their coaching staff IMO.

I think it was both, as it was with Pitt. The Pitt staff isn’t fully to blame for some of the kids sucking lol.

Uh, yes, gigantic Pitt hoops fan my entire life as far as I can remember…I am however not a Pitt fan who puts on his Pitt glasses no matter what…this situation right now with this program is DISGUSTING, you know it, I know it, everyone knows it, I’m not gonna act like everything is ok or even a little bit ok, the fact that capel is even coming back is embarrassing in itself, I don’t understand the issue? Why would I lie and act like things are somewhat ok or there is somewhat of a bright future or that capel will magically bring in ACC level transfers and then magically turn into a good basketball coach and improve them….

This happens to Huggy all the time. He loses tons of guys and it rarely phases him. He brings in talent
