Speaking of UConn, maybe we hire Ollie.Read earlier Frank Martin is talking to UConn. He’s not happy they haven’t invested more in hoops especially after a final four last year.
I doubt he leaves for UConn, especially with a $15 million buyout. Holy cow.Read earlier Frank Martin is talking to UConn. He’s not happy they haven’t invested more in hoops especially after a final four last year.

We should consider Ollie or Stan Heath. Otherwise we'd be just sitting on our laurels. Hardy har har. Please don’t even suggest that, it scares me.
If you thought Stallings was a little unhinged....martin makes him look like a saint
You think it’s easier to recruit Pitt for hoops than Georgia?Crean would have much done better coaching at Pitt. Much larger and better recruiting foot print and one he has traction and reputation already. Georgia must have offered him a ton to make up for not getting Matt’s.

Really?
- $3.2 million per year. Wow
-Yes
So the natural question is whether pitt went really cheap on crean or if there was never mutual interest at all
Of course it would be easier to win in the SEC and local recruiting would be more fertile in Georgia.Crean would have much done better coaching at Pitt. My guess is Georgia went all in after Matta turned them down. No inside info but I think Pitt is prepared to go all in on Hurley. So the natural question is whether pitt went really cheap on crean or if there was never mutual interest at all
As opposed to sit around and let others hire the top candidates? Your thinking is absurd. UGA wanted Matta, he pulled out last minute. Crean was the next guy on their board, they made their move. How could you find fault with that?Georgia reminds of the guy who can't function without a girlfriend. As soon as he breaks up with one he immediately needs another one.
I know some will say UGA gets it and they move quick, but seems a bit strange to me that they're throwing huge offers at guys before their interview is even over.
