Cummings to Pitt

Okay this is a solid start at a much needed position.
I will reserve judgment on this until I hear what his ORTG is. I will hang up and listen.
What? How? Okay… one down and about 5 to go! Good portal start… needed someone to lead and hopefully domino into more talent.
For Pitt and Capel, this is about as good as it gets. Solid, ACC league-average type guard but as an older guy and older team, sometimes you see older teams just get it. At the PPG NCAAT games, all I heard during the starting lineups was grad student, grad student, senior, etc.
Cummings isnt a true PG but is more of a PG than Femi. Ideally we'd still bring in a true PG and slide Nelly to the 2 if Femi leaves or to 6th man if he comes back.
Now we need 2 other locals: Tre Mitchell and Phillip Alston. Get those 2 guys or just Mitchell and I'd honestly think we have a chance.
I'm not even sure if he's more of a PG than Femi. He's a decent player though, so he'll help.
Don’t know much about his game other than his stats. Watched him a few time at Colgate. I’d imagine his production is about 60 percent of what he did at Colgate. Another combo guard. I think he’s better than Nike. Who else do we even have on the roster still? I haven’t been paying attention, honestly. Did Femi portal yet?
It's a positive and it certainly can't hurt. They need bodies that can play minutes at this level.
Femi has 0 PG skills. 0. As much as I railed on Johnson, he at least was able to create slots for others but was just a bad decision makerm. Femi cant create for others. Nelly, I see more like a poor man's Xavier Johnson. Chucker, careless with the ball at times, but can create for others and can get hot at times
Decent get for us at this point, he looked like he belonged on the court against Wisconsin, he can get hot from outside, I like it
He’s played really well against high majors. Whether that can be replicated twice a week for 20 games in ACC play is an open question, but it’s been so far so good.
Definitely liked what I saw against Wisconsin, very confident in everything he was doing out there, definitely can play, a level above what we currently have at any guard spot
He seriously has more creative ways to turn the ball over than any PG I've ever seen.
I am good with taking Cummings, but Agree. He is another Xaiver Johnson or Femi. We need to still recruit a true point. Has a tendency to play hero ball.
How many bigs do we have? Alston would help, but need more.

His team made the NCAA tournament the last 2 years and were 25-9 the other year it was cancelled. 2-time All Patriot League.
Great for him! Since he's experienced winning and being in the tournament, now he can go to Pitt
