Any of those first 6 games would be pretty solid bowls and nice matchups. If we play Navy in the Military Bowl though, smh. Totally unacceptable. Unless we lose our next 4 games that is complete bs.

We're always a candidate for the Sun Bowl because travelling fans don't matter to that game as much. The locals practically sell the game out. Which is fine by me because that is a legacy bowl that has good matchups and is held on one of the traditional big bowl days. We could, and have done much, much worse.

Isn't the Tax Slayer Bowl a new name for the Gator Bowl? If so, seems it has a lot more history/prestige than the Music City Bowl.

Is it? Tough to keep track, but I was thinking it was one of those minor bowls in the same stadium, but I think you're right. They need to go back to the Gator Bowl name.

Agreed. The Gator Bowl was one of the great bowl games. Calling it the TaxSlayer Bowl just makes it sound like an undesirable bowl.

6 or 7 wins: Military Bowl, probably vs Navy
8-10 wins: Pinstripe Bowl
11 wins: Peach Bowl

Yep. 7 wins = Miltary or Independence but probably Military given our proximity to Annapolis.

Being that there are two ACC vs Big Ten Bowl match ups (New Era Pinstripe and Quick Lane) does anybody think we have a chance to play Penn State in a bowl ? Wouldn't that be a nice match up and set up for next season's game and the up coming series ?

No chance. PSU os not going back to the Bronx and wont fall to Detroit.
