I know it's a common meme to claim that guys have career days against Pitt, but...

Virginia guard Dai Dai Ames in his first 11 ACC games this season:

4.6 ppg, 20/47 (42.6%) FG, 4/17 (23.5%) 3FG

Ames against Pitt last night:

27 points, 11/16 (68.8%) FG, 3/6 (50%) 3FG

He played 33 games prior to last night. He scored in double figures 11 times in those 33 games, and his career high was 16 (he did it twice: once at Kansas State last season and once at Virginia earlier this season).

Literally the best game of his life.
