Forgive me if this has already been discussed . . . but including last night, I've only seen the Panthers play 5 games so far

Just a quick "Moe-bservation" . . . Damon looks like he fits but is apprehensive about doing anything too risky. I had not seen any of his HS videos/games, so I don't know if he is a "flashy" player or prefers to keep things "conservative".

But for now, if he does nothing more than maintain the ball (few if not zero turnovers) and give JR some needed breaks, I'm OK. Would like to see him be a little more aggressive on offense given his size, though.

Having watched several his games last year, I thought he might actually surpass Newkirk as the backup PG (with Newkirk seeing his minutes off the ball, if at all). He does a nice job managing the game, always seemed to be under control. Struck me as more of a pure PG type than Newkirk did. Wilson was a little bit more aggressive attacking in HS, and has been the same way against some of the more overmatched teams Pitt has played, but for now in ACC play I think he's pretty much the ideal backup PG for Pitt. He comes in, doesn't force anything or take touches away from the better players, and doesn't make too many mistakes.

You mean he is smart enough to know what he doesn't know?
I love guys like that.
