He has been in the stands behind the Kansas bench during the Big 12 tournament, and NCAA tournament. He is the HC at WF. Does he not have anything else he could be doing to help out the WF program like working with his own players, recruiting, evaluating, etc. I would be pissed if I was a Demon Deacon.

The only way I would not be a pissed Deac fan is if Manning were getting recruiting tips from Self.
Self's recruiting tips: "Do what me and Roy did. Say hi, I am the coach of the Kansas Jayhawks, wait you can't say that but say Tim Duncan played at my school a long time ago.".
I thought the same thing when he was also in the stands for their 1st and 2nd round games but now realize his son plays there.

He was even shown during a game during the regular season. The guy gets paid millions of dollars to be the HC at WF, and that should be his focus. He did a terrible job against Pitt, and looked like he was half asleep.

I was watching a Kansas game last week and they showed Manning all decked out in blue and red, then a few seconds later I remember that was the head coach of Wake Forest and I'm thinking WTF is he doing looking like a fanboy on national TV. Yea you are a legend there but you're the HC of Wake. The announcers didnt even mention he was the Wake coach and honestly, I'm not sure they knew.

Watching his alma mater, where he played and coached, and where his son is on the team... Who grew up in Lawrence.... When your season is over...

So they got rid of the late signing period, and player evaluations are done. News to me.

It's not like he can recruit any other time, than the 2 hours he's there.
This is not a one time occurance or even the Final 4. The guy should be focused on his team on how to improve it - current and future roster.
He's got four kids signed.
He'll be alright.
Let wake worry about their coach.

Every time that the cameras pan towards his direction & the network shows the all time leading scorers at Kansas, it is free advertising for Manning. A recruit seeing this might take a second look at Wake.
It's free publicity. I'm going to guess that most basketball fans don't know he is a head coach.
Obviously people have pointed out his son is a walk on. However, the real reason I would be pissed at Danny Manning if I was a Demon Deacon fan? He is a terrible coach.
