Davidson finished first in the Atlantic 10 last year, lost just one significant player as I understand. Pomeroy currently has them #59, ahead of ACC colleague NC State. Davidson may drop after today's game, but they were playing #8 UNC in Chapel Hill. That's a little bit different than playing #33 Pitt on a neutral site. If the Davidson game turns out to be a cakewalk for Pitt I'll take that as an encouraging sign. It might be no easier than #38 Syracuse at the Pete on 12/30.
