And people wonder about Pitt? But I get it, people spend their money on what they want. But for those on here wanting to boast about it. Volleyball is doing nothing for the university. You all better hope they get more money for the revenue sports, because if they dont, volleyball might end up one of those eliminated.
Or, it's a cool little moment for a winning program and the overall total is pretty meaningless in terms of the overall budget for the program.

Yeah, and its one of the dumbest things done. You tell me exactly how Pitt volleyball has brought in money for the university. Every other major school is putting money into football, and we have people on this board bragging about womens volleyball. I am so glad the new administration dont think that way. I mean this is so ridiculous.
Out of all of the Pitt athletic programs, they are the one program that gives me hope of seeing a NCAA team national championship. I'm in my mid 40s and have never seen a Pitt team natty in my lifetime. I'd like to see one before I die.
I think you, me, and everyone on this board, our children and grandchildren will die before Pitt wins another National Championship. That being said, if Narduzzi doesn’t blow it in 21 against Western Michigan, I think Pitt would have been in the playoff.
The facility brings a few more programs up to a legitimate P5 level. You can argue over the costs and if funds are being raised effectively but Pitt had a lot of work to do when it joined the ACC.
