He reminds me of Jabaal Sheard. The kid should be rated as a 4-star.
Love his hudl. I truly hope we keep him. Reading the writers from OSU, Dayon was quoted as tOSU was his dream school growing up...
I do see the AD comparison. The thing with AD was during hs he was very good but reminded me of a dancing bear. He completely transformed his body in college and turned into a freak.
Hayes completely dominates 1A ball to the point it's comical, as he should. I think his ceiling is very high. He's the 1st guy in a long time that can bend the corner we've landed.
In terms of Sheard, I don't really see that. Maybe in size. I think dayon is more flexible and could potentially play inside down the road.
Nakhi Johnson looks quicker to me. He reminds me more of Sheard TBH.
I think he'll have some early growing pains because of the offensive tackles he'll see but, with his motor he'll probably improve quick.
I really like him in duzzs scheme.

He is going to be a tear arse DE. He is lean and quick enough.
They have real nice depth at DT, and some recent DE and OL who might end up there, while they have numbers at DE, the quality is more sketchy.
He very likely will get into the two deep as a frosh, take over for Weaver or Jones his second year and be an all acc guy there before going pro.

When I say a guy might move inside, often it's due to diet and training they have in hs vs in college.

Look at the pic of him standing next to AD in another thread. AD measured 6-0 3/4" at the combine.
Yeah, he is taller than Donald.
By the way, Donald pinned a tweet saying LSU is his dream school. So, I dont think he is a true lock either
