Regardless of what decisions your bosses might make, it is time for you to get some help. Everyone know continuing down the same path will deliver the same results.
1) find the best football minds you can and ask for help. I know that is hard for you but you must recognize these desperate times. BTW this could be formal as in “consultant” or “mentor”. You must have successful mentors out there who could help you lead a transformation.
2) redo the offense NOW...yes, New Coordinator now. Whipple has had ample time and this is a fund failure. Maybe promote Beatty? show your team and everyone else that you actually do realize how bad this is...
3) put everyone oin your organization on notice. Lack of Discipline will no longer be tolerate. I for one am getting really tired of our guys “mouthing off” after every play (Starts before the game and continues regardless of the score). The penalties should embarrass you and your staff!!!
4). Maybe should be 1...acknowledge the severity of the situation.. When you incessantly come to the Mike with, “we just have to work harder” or it’s just a “few details”, you lose credibility. Admit There are major problems and commit you, your coaches and team to making changes and getting them fixed.
