Sometime next month the NCAA is going to officially rescind the rule that first time transfers have to sit out a year in those few sports that still have that rule in place.
It was kind of an odd commitment to Kentucky. Didn't they get involved real late and then he goes on a visit real quick and commits?
For whatever reason, WPIAL kids usually dont fare well if they leave PA.....outside of a handful of kids at ND and Mich.

He played, but didn’t get much exposure due to defensive scheme they were running. He also wasn’t very productive when he was involved. Hopefully it was just a bad fit for him and he will produce at Pitt. It’s kind of weird that he signed with UK in the first place..
Several items. 1. The staff really wanted him (evidently), which as others have said tells, me all I need to know. 2. In reflection, is it really all that hard to believe that some kids really just want to experience a different location at age 18? 3. Pitt is a really good school. 4. I suspect that when you recruit a kid hard, even if, or perhaps especially, if he turns you down, you really get to know what type of person he is, Devonshire must be a good kid. 5. The truth about the next level is generally if you are good enough they will find a place for you, eventually this dawns on most kids, so why not stay close to home. If it works out and you become a star, great, if not, work hard and become a contributor and you will forever be part of your City's tradition, football group, etc. Pittsburgh has a lot to offer in the long run. 6. If family is involved/important its great for them to be able to easily drive in for a game or for you to stop in at home for a Wednesday(Pick a night) meal in the off-season.......
