Guys - I don't post ever on this basketball board, but, I just can't take watching this pathetic bunch of Pitt players attempting to play against ACC competition. I thought we would make it interesting tonight, but, still got blown out. Even lost a 15 point lead? To me talent, inexperience comes into play, but, so does coaching. It reminds me of a Intramural team attempting to take on the Varsity. I know KS doesn't have his guys, but, there is no buzz, no future, no Charlie Smith on the horizon. If you read the article in ESPN today I even got more pissed off when I read that Barnes used the old buddy system to get KS in the door. Not KS's fault but I see the program reeling backwards to a depth its never seen before. I remember the Sam Clancy team from '76, they sucked too but beat Duke with Gene Banks. They had heart and grit but little talent. This team does not. I can't watch another game, hope you guys feel differently. By the way, how many season tickets and donations are going to be coming in for next year for KS leading the hoop team Heather? Make your move Heather and let KS go now, I am tired of the suffering.
