Am I the only person that noticed just how animated he was in todays game? Fist pumping, barking at the refs, cheering his guys on from the bench and firing up the crowd. There is a 12 minute video on youtube showcasing todays highlight against UNC.

There is plenty to talk about in regards to todays game. Im sure DT will have a post soon enough about the win. But its worth noting that, while some people think Johnson has 2 steps out the door and ready to run out of Pittsburgh as fast as he can, he seemed just as energized if not more than the actual players in the game or the people in the crowd. He obviously cares and was clearly fired up for todays game and was not sulking in the least by being on the bench.

It was noticeable. That is a sign, a small one, but a sign of a decent teammate that cares (lets not bring up the court case here)

Honestly, this could all work out in Pitt's favor. If he stays, and if he's as good as advertised, it will really help us remain competitive next year given all the losses to the backcourt. It will also keep pressure off of the freshmen. We can only hope for Dior and Hugley being the players we were expecting this year, next year.

And the same can be said about Big John. He has been into the last 3 games as much as anyone.

I agree. Hugley, Fede, the twins, Hinson, Dior, Carrington and Lowe along with Will and Santos could be a really nice team.

We noticed this also and thanks for pointing it out. It was really good to see.

Yeah but our one pal poster insists there is no sign of Pitt being able to be a good team next year and that this year is it. Nobody here is suggesting Pitt is going to be good or decent but there are signs that this could be a nice little ride going forward regardless of the Hilltoppers’ prowe$$ and other portal happenin’s. Lol.

Yea, we have to prevent Western Kentucky (of all teams) from coming in and taking Dior Johnson. What a major major threat.
