During a recent Dixon's presser he mentioned a 6-3 walk on who played on the Bradford Campus team. The kId has had to relocate to complete his engineering degree in Oakland. Also, he mentioned that Cam Johnson has grown to 6-8, 230 lbs. However---

1. The official site roster doesn't list the Bradford transfer. Anyone know if this is because he needs to redshirt?

2. The roster lists Cam Johnson as 6-7, 185 vs the Dixon presser's 6-8, 230.

3. The roster includes a freshman walk from St. Mary's PA who is 6-6 235. Is this a new addition or is this the Bradford transfer in disguise?

Can anyone shed light on these inconsistencies?

Thanks. Got it! We have two Smiths on the roster. Height and weight for Cam Johnson should be corrected.

Correct me if I am wrong but... Dixon said Slim had grown to 6'8" and had put on 30 pounds... which would put him at 215 or so. If he has ballooned all the ways up to 230 he probably has a weight problem. In fact, Dixon said he put on upper body weight that is not all muscle because he was not able to work his upper body out due to the injury recovery... and that he has gotta reshape that over time.

Yeah, Dixon said with the 30 additional pounds we might not even recognize Slim. People were saying Slim had to fill out to be able to withstand D1 basketball so I guess that has happened... but the upper body needs work.

Yeah, a 6'8" 215 player playing guard... is gonna be interesting... but Dixon said he can still shoot and handle the ball just needs to get better on the defensive side... and stressed that multiple times.

We will see.
I saw Slim about a month ago. 210-215 would be my guess. No evidence of any surplus poundage.

Can't find anything about the Smith from Bradford. Cam Johnson at 6-8, 230 though! Wow!

Too much to hope for the second coming of Magic Johnson?

If he grows another couple inches and puts on like 30 more pounds, maybe he'll transform into a true center?
