Interesting he has pretty much spelled out his rotation:
  1. Robinson, Wilson (out for now), Milligan
  2. Smith, Jones
  3. Artis, Johnson
  4. and 5. The five bigs: Young, Jeter, ANO, Luther and Maia
(Oh, not necessarily who the starters above are but who is playing what position.)

Interesting that he listed Slim at SF and Jones at SG... thought they were opposite to that in the last game. He did also mention that we could see Smith and Jones or Artis and Slim out there at the same time.

IMO the rotation is firming up good for this point of the season... given just one starter returning and playing the same position.

Wiltjer and company were mentioned, including Few planning on starting all three of his bigs, but it doesn't appear Dixon plans to go with any special lineup changes... though that could change during the game. Right now it is unknown if Sabonis will play and if he does how effective he will be. Yeah, it would be interesting to see Slim covering Wiltjer... a guard on a big... albeit a 6'8" guard.

Slim on Wiljter would be interesting, if Slim is improved. He's faster than most bigs, tall, long wing span. Best way to stop a big is deny him the ball. I think Slim would have a fighting chance if he is up to speed. The only question I would have is if he would be ready for such a role after not playing last year much. Pretty big role in a big spotlight. Also, if they screen a lot, not sure if he is strong enough to fight through them.

Thought it was interesting that he spelled out all positions as you stated. Dont know where the PT will come from for Wilson/Milligan. He has them at backup 1's but Robinson is getting at least 30 minutes there. They seem to have too much upside to split 10 minutes per game.

I think Slim at SF is best for now. He's very tall and has beefed up, so I think he fits there better than Jones. I also think he's the best chance at covering Wiljter. Artis would be the best matchup probably for him, but his defense has been too shaky.

Well, Milligan can play SG also (as can Wilson), and Dixon played him there, at SG, in the B/G game.

Right now they just want to get reasonable spelling of Robinson. Wilson has been injured and missed time so Milligan is the man there now. After the Zags game, the expectation is that Wilson will be ready to play some again and he should get PT in the subsequent games before the Purdue game. With that, Dixon will be in a position to decide who spells Robinson. If we are playing well in this slot and better than what we are getting at SG... then Dixon could well decide to start playing Milligan (or Wilson) some at SG (off the bench I would think).

So, that is where Dixon can get more PT for these two. But, PT is at a premium for this team and the first priority is getting decent play from whomever is spelling Robinson.

i suspect we will run with milligan alot...like if we need some scoring .. he is very talented and I am excited to see him live.
