Interesting list. I like Darrin Hall, but he should be in the 13-14 neighborhood. A sizable chunk of his total career yardage is the result of 3-4 long TD runs.
I think the top 5 are Tony D., Marshall G., and the ‘Dream Backfield, Rick N.,except for T.D.,the rest of the boys played both ways.Where is Marshall Goldberg? Best of all time? I'm old and never saw him play, but if you know Pitt history .....

That would still be a bad list. Curtis Martin had a great pro career, but he was always hurt at Pitt. He simply does not belong at number two on that list. I would put him in the top 10 because when he did play he was terrific, but he was definitely not the second (or third) best Pitt RB I’ve ever seen.I don't think you can expect people to vote on guys that played 80 years ago. It's not like anyone alive has seen them play. Right now the list has a top 10 of
1) TD
2) CMart
3) Shady
4) Heyward
5) Conner
6) Dion
7) Curvin Richards
8) Ray Graham
9) Barlow
10) Ollison
Billy West is at 11. Hard to argue against that list if you forget about the old guys nobody saw play.

give it a shot...I did found it not to be that far off the mark...btw, they did not stipulate only their time at Pitt as the only consideration...Ridiculous rankings. Not worth correcting.
It's not some static list that one person put together, rather, it's a fluid list that viewers can affect the order by voting. That would still be a bad list. Yup... Finished in the top three in the Heisman voting twice, including runner up...
I agree. Martin had a great pro career, but Conner absolutely was more productive in college. McCoy too, even for only 2 years. That would still be a bad list.
