Funny because when I listen and Pitt fans do call in you can damn well guarantee posters on here will trash them. No wonder Pitt fans don't call you guys rip everybody. It's in your DNA.

Nobody cares about Narduzzi's press conference. Not even the flagship station. In fact, unless it's a big announcement, why do people care much about coaching press conferences at all?

93.7 the fan, Most of the fan hosts are anti Pitt, and it's Pitts flagship station, the only time they might talk about Pitt is pre game and the actual game football or basketball and Bill Hilgrove does those, but if you want steeler and penguine talk just turn it on anytime, show after show and they all talk about the same thing, these are the same people who think that psu and wvu are local teams, there are things about Pitt to talk about, they just don't or won't

The Dumbest Radio Management is all of Sports, been to Cleveland and other cities and they have the same Exact Format and they come up with drivel on a level of lowering any listeners IQ, they should be arrested as a National Security Threat to America?

They allow callers just a tad of time and pick out dumb callers to make them look smart, seek out little sports hosts that sand moves when they fart, and then make fun of them, and the only people dumber are the ones that listen to them?

Pirate talk still going on and the season is over, this may be the reason why the NFL is losing interests today, they are pure overkill and just listen during Pitt Games and have cut back on that too.

I am all NPR now and 970 when I can get it!

The Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates are massively popular and are easy ratings. Probably 95% of Pitt fans in Pittsburgh are fans of one or more of those teams so when talking about the pro teams, most Pitt fans wont turn off the radio. However, I dont know, maybe 20-30% of local pro fans are Pitt fans so they are more inclined to switch the station when Pitt talk starts.

Pitt needs to sponser a set time 30 to 60 minutes a day so we Pitt fans can plan to listen. We cant rely on the Fan's hosts to talk anything indepth because they dont know anything or care. I'm not going to listen to all their other topics waiting for the occasional college football talk which is just their casual, uninformed, opinions. They lump all 3 schools together (PSU,WVU) when they do a CF segment. Pitt needs to take control of their information even if they buy the time.

Someday soon, Universities will own their own Sports Programing within the Conferences and leave radio like The Fan just like the Talk shows are now, to the depths of the lower dregs of entertainment. Personal streaming anytime will prevail.

It is like this election, the Millennials largest voting block now use Social Media Streaming and Sharing and the Big Old Media TV, Cable, Radio have divided the electorate.

If you love Hillary it is CNN, MSNBC, and CBS-ABC-NBC Networks versus Trump then Fox, Drudge, & Conservative Radio Shows. Young Social Media are reading and revealing WikiLeaks among themselves as Older Media ignore them?

Social Media will define the future like Radio did in 1920s, TV 1950s, and Cable 1970s. Dying Dinosaurs! It will interesting how it all plays out in November?

Just told last night, Donald Trump win or lose, is planning his own News Network and it will go after the Media, Political, and Global Establishment, kind of like a Matt Drudge but with Old Media + Social Media combine in Trumps way with Roger Ailes.

We shall see if that plays out?

I would not pay a Pitt Dime nor Sponsor anything on Radio, TV, or Cable. I would set up the Pitt University Network Streaming that includes Academics & Sports and promote that with Pitt Commercial Sponsors and protect Pitt Content and make Commercial Entities pay for it!

They don't cover Pitt now, so don't ignore them, just compete with them, and make them pay! It is going to be done sooner or later! ESPN laughed at Big Ten Network, Fox joined them, ESPN not laughing anymore!

Right now anyone can learn more about Pitt Sports on the Lair more than anywhere and the Old Newspapers, Radio, and even TV Commentators are getting much off the Lair and then use it in their columns, broadcasting, and media as if they created it?
